Pilot Project of Fundació Un Sol Món
"Linea Empresa" is a phone-based advice service for micro-entrepreneurs in business crisis. It will be taken out in the geographic area Catalonia, where 80% of Un Sol Móns lending activity takes place. The service is structured in the following manner:
- Inbound service (incoming calls), 2 days a week: This service aims to develop a trusting relationship between the caller and the adviser and to identify and tackle the "real problem" behind the initial reason for the call.
- Outbound service (outgoing calls), 3 days a week: New customers will be informed about the service and potential questions will be answered.
- Face-to-face advice, in single cases: In cases that require it, customers will be referred to a specialised volunteer. This follow-up service provided through the highly skilled volunteers team has proved to be very efficient.
The main advantages of this service are:
- Low threshold and low costs for the client
- The entrepreneur will continue talking to the adviser he is referred to initially
- Efficient tools and methods (active advice, tools for improvement, empowerment of the entrepreneur)
- Network of organisations the client can be referred to (lawyers for legal aspects, hotlines specialised in individual support e.g. in life-crisis).
